Looks pretty authentic. Tried cuddling up with it and it didn't work for me for that, But its a great decorative item. Though i have had the real thing, which was gorgeous, i wouldn't support the skinning of live lams in my wildest dreams. And, yes, it does happen to my complete horror.So if you live the POP of elegance this look gives please just get the synthetic version.I bought this blanket over a year ago. This is THE WARMEST blanket I've ever owned. It is also super soft, both the faux fur side, but especially the pseudo-velvety underside. It hasn't shed any noticeable amount. Easy to wash (I use a delicate cycle) and then allow to air dry). I haven't had any issues with the seams or shedding. It's still incredibly white despite 3 washings and being the cats' favorite blanket. And of course, it is very aesthetically pleasing. Great buy and worth the price.I got the Ivory faux throw, and I must say it's one of my favorite blankets. I got it to go with a satin black sheet set and it's a pretty decent match, considering I sleep on a queen sized, double height air mattress. I was expecting the throw to be a little bigger, since it was listed as a "Queen" sized, but in the sellers defense the dimensions are listed in the title. The blanket does touch end to end, even with some of the stretch an air mattress is expected to give. Not that it changes my opinion, I love this blanket, and if you have someone else in your bed you will fight over this blanket in the middle of the night.I LOVEDDDDDD this when I first got it. I searched high and low for a ‘looser’ fur blanket for the end of our bed. But after one wash (on cold setting) and dry (low setting/damp dry) it was sort of ‘matted down’ on half the blanket. I even tried using a slicker brush to bring it back but it wasn’t happening. Bummer. How are you supposed to have a blanket and never wash it?Exactly as described.Exquisite. They can be laundered in cold water on a gentle cycle just make sure to air dry. They do not shed. I use them as couch covers. They look and feel divine. Love the richness of the color. To refresh occasionally between washing, I just toss in the dryer (air only, no heat) with a dryer sheet for about 10 minutes.I bought the large Pink fur blanket. Nervous the color would not be a true match but it ended up being the most PERFECT dusky rose color. Such an awesome unique accent piece to my grey/white bedroom. Great buy and so soft!
