We ordered this for our 6 year old (the 7 lb blanket) and he loves it! It’s a good size and very soft except the stars are a little different fabric. Weighed 6.6 lbs but close enough for us. It’s great!The glow in the dark part is just ok...but it over all is very heavy duty, soft and well made. I got it for a 7 month old just for his hip down to help him soothe and yes he is just fine. Love that it's a good size for him to use long term.My son loves it! He takes it everywhere with him to comfort him.I noticed that the heaviest part of the blanket is in the middle and the weight tapers off as to get closer to the edges.Well made, soft, comfy and my kid loves it!!!My four-year-old has night terrors we have tried everything possible so we decided to try the weighted blanket, it has worked perfect nightmares have gone down tremendously , he wakes up a lot less plus he loves it!So we decided to get one for our two-year-old and it also helped him sleep through the night and not have any night terrors… We highly recommend this product is very comfortable and very reasonably priced !I bought this for myself,(not for a kid) for travel. Plane and car trips. Amazingly soft, just the right size for my lap. And perfect weight. The weight adds comfort without being too heavy. I also like it as a hotel pillow cover or for a little extra warmth in hotel beds. And the bonus.....it really DOES glow in the dark. I knew it was advertised as such, but I didn't really expect it to. But to my surprise, it does glow!My daughter really likes this blanket, I just wish it was larger. No other complaints.My son absolutely loves this blanket, it did however feel a bit lighter than his other 7 lb weighted blanket.
