I was hesitant to buy fitted slipcovers because a lot of the reviews looked like they didn't fit well. Having oversized furniture, I needed something a bit more versatile. The blankets work well for covering them. They are soft, but not fuzzy. They do not sound crunchy or plastic. I poured some water onto the surface of one and it beaded up, but then soaked into the top fabric. It did NOT soak through because of the waterproof center. I wiped away the liquid with a dry cloth and I could have wiped it with a clean, damp cloth to temporarily clean, but it was water, so there was no point. The texture of the fabric helps them to stay put on furniture pretty well. They require periodic adjustments, but I'd say that they do pretty well considering. I bought 4 - 80x90 for couches and Chaise. I also bough 4 - 50x60. I use one for the chaise part of my sectional and another for an ottoman. the other two I sent to daycare for nap time. I also bought 2 - 30x20 for carseats. The small ones only have one soft side. I probably would have gone with the 30x50 for carseats, due to size, but they work to sit on. I have NOT been disappointed with these. If they can withstand a toddler, imagine how well these will work for pets!The photos show about 5 days use on our basement furniture. They're a little pulled, but still protecting. The car seat isn't ideal, but it works to sit on. I ended up folding that in half and putting it just on the seat.I would definitely recommend these blankets for more than just pets.
