I have a queen size bed. However, I wanted a twin size blanket for just on top of myself. This blanket is perfect. It is soft and lushious. Feels great on these cool nights and stays where I need it. I enjoy reading in bed and this way the other side of the bed is open for my reading materials. I do not know how it do when washed, because I haven't washed it yet.I'm truly satisfied with this purchase!!? Here's my WHY...The plush feel and warmth of the Sherpa Blanket. It replaced an old blanket which was very stiff compared to this one. I can't attest to the warmth of this one right now, because its been too hot, but in a month or so when the temperatures drop, I should find out for sure. Size says queen, but could fit a king, which is great because I hate fighting over a blanket and since there is plenty of blanket, there's now no fighting.It’s much lighter weight than I anticipated, which is better for our use than I had planned but I expected it would be thicker. Nothing wrong with it.
