This will be a brief but honest review. TLDR - This is a great product and is worth the purchase. However, know what kind of weighted blanket you want. This has been my first experience getting one. My roommate let me try his and while I really liked it, it was a bit more tough, less soft, and a bit smaller too. However, the rougher material still felt nice and definitely felt and looked a bit more premium… which reflected the price (his was 200~300ish I believe). For an entry weighted blanket (for big ones and at least), this is a great product. Super soft, very nice to touch, good amount of weight, and plenty of blanket for multiple people if you’re sharing it. Just be careful as it is a bit easier to untangle the cargo net weave of the blanket since the material is softer and not as high quality as other products. That isn’t to say this isn’t a quality product, but if you look around Amazon, there are much more expensive/premium ones you could go for. I’m however happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone. It was worth the purchase and I feel like I got my moneys worth :)I absolutely love this blanket. The weight is nice and it is so soft and cozy. If you are under it in one layer it allows air to circulate so it doesn’t make you warm, but if it’s chilly you can double it up (it’s THAT big!) and you can snuggle in to perfect warm, weighted. comfy bliss.The only con is that the loops are starting to pull even after gentle use. It still works just fine, but I am concerned about how long it will last. Really hoping the loop situation just adds to its character and that the blanket doesn’t fall apart because I really love this product overall!I received my blanket today so I will write first impressions and then update my review later. The blanket is beautiful. Really beautiful. Aesthetically, it’s incredible. I purchased the dark grey in 20lbs. Just for reference, I am 5’0 and 119 lbs. I know that is heavy for someone my size, but I have owned 20 pound weighted blankets before and I prefer the heavier weight. Unfortunately, this blanket felt REALLY light. My lightweight regular blankets and this weighted blanket feel the same on my body when I am laying down in bed. Again, this is first impressions and I will update my review after using it if I am mistaken, but it doesn’t seem to offer that hug feeling, no compression, or anything that weighted blankets are suppose to provide. In fact, it “tents up” very easily so the blanket doesn’t even rest on my body in some areas. This makes me pretty bummed. I am absolutely in love with the aesthetics of this blanket and want to keep it so badly, but I cannot justify the cost when I NEED a weighted blanket in order to get a good night’s sleep. Maybe if they offered this same size blanket in 30 pounds it would feel like a 20 pound blanket. Also, side note, the fabric is pretty rough.Update after first night: this blanket sleeps hot. I guess that makes sense considering the material it is made from, but I did read on the listing that it doesn’t sleep hot so I am bummed about that. The blanket definitely felt like any regular summer blanket as far as weight is concerned. It also kept tenting up anytime I shifted or moved leaving large gaps between my body and the blanket. It doesn’t hug the body the way a weighted blanket should. It’s just so beautiful!! I want this thing to work out, but I need an actual weighted blanket and cannot justify this price tag for something that just looks good and doesn’t work. I will update in a week to see if it just needs a little time to become more pliable in order for it to hug, but I don’t think it will ever feel like a 20 pound weighted blanket. Upon further examining, it appears to be constructed from cotton batting or some sort of similar material stuffed into tubes. The tubes are super light in weight and squishy between the fingers. I really wish I had a magic wand to wave and make this blanket behave like a 20 pound weighted blanket. I suppose the larger the blanket, the more spread out the weight is. If YNM made this blanket in 30 pounds without increasing the size of the blanket, maybe it would offer the same sensation as a 20 pound weighted blanket. I think this thing has to go back and that makes me sad. YNM, I know this woven blanket is a relatively new product so I’m hoping maybe there will be some tweaks fairly quickly so it will hug the body and truly feel like a 20 pound weighted blanket.The chemical smell you guys first experience is normal in the kind of packaging it was received in. Give it time to air out I recommend spraying both sides with Lavender Lysol every few days and the chemical smell totally goes away !NOW THAT THATS OVER !!!This blanket is amazing ! I use mine on the couch and I love how it hugs all 10 of my toes through the chords! It’s warm but airy which is perfecto for me ! It’s also noticeably weighted but once your under it you feel right at home !Def a gift giver ! Def a gift taker ! It’s wildly soft and plush and if your into textures this is def great for your hands and legs !So in love. SO soft, SO cute and just heavy enough without ever being too hot. I got the olive green and it is velvety and dreamy. Definitely worth it!First three days was like a dream come true, perfect amount of weight without being super warm. Sadly around the fourth day it started developing like a layer of lint on top and bottom of it just from contact and now I’m in day 8th and it’s beginning to be a little rough, haven’t washed it or anything. It’s so sad because I loved it at the beginningFor reference, I purchased the 20lbs grey version of this product on 2/12/22The blanket comes in a nice cloth carrying bag with a vacuum sealable bag. Be it by luck or a change in the manufacturing process, my blanket did not have a harsh chemical smell as many others have described.It is VERY important that you have a large washer/dryer to clean this thing. It may take multiple cycles to fully dry it.The blanket itself (from what I can tell) is quality. The knitting is tight and doesn’t stretch on its own weight. The fabric is a cotton and polyester blend, and is very soft to the touch. Despite the gaps in the fabric, It sleeps quite warm if you don’t have a fan. It looks great, and it feels great.The knit was all off. Wholes everywhere. Not worth the money at all. Worst purchase ever.寝て起きると、重いため多少疲れた感はあるが、それまであった中途覚醒はなくなった。今までと比べ深く寝れるような気がします。今の寒い時期は、暖かく寝れるので暖房なしでも十分です。独特な匂いはします。
